Edith is a partner at JOJOMA Advocates and Executive Director of African Women in Arbitration (AWA). She is an arbitrator and dual-qualified advocate of the High Courts of Kenya and Uganda, with over ten years’ experience in commercial, investment and construction disputes resolution.
Under her leadership, she has launched several initiatives such as the AWA Symposium that seeks to secure African seats and promote diversity in arbitral appointments and the HERprenuer mentorship program.
Edith is a member of the ADR Committee of the EALS and the Arbitration and Construction Law clusters of the ULS. She is also a member of the CIArb UK (MCIArb) and has a Master of Laws (LLM).
